Visit with Lindsey Shumway

Last month we were surprised by a visit from a very close friend, Lindsey Shumway. I went to high school with Lindsey, and after I joined the LDS church she became one of my best friends. She is living in Utah right now, but she was in town for her 10-year high school reunion and she brought her two beautiful daughters with her! I had not met Mia and Terryn yet, so that was wonderful!



Lindsey and I used to pack picnics and go down to Coulon park on Lake Washington and talk for hours, so when she was here, we decided to grab dinner (Wendy's) and take it down to Coulon. It was great catching up with her! Lindsey is one of those friends who I always feel close to even though we may go years at a time without talking. As soon as we get together, the relationship just seems to pick up where it left off.
